The Precision Aiming Module PAM16 is a wireless and portable Position and Orientation Sight that is mounted on direct and indirect fire weapons for Predicted Fire Control or Corrected Fire Control.

AIMING FEATURES

  • Rapid set-up and aiming
  • Wireless connection to fire control system
  • Excepts aiming commands for different weapons from Fire Control System
  • Provides true north heading (bearing), pitch (elevation), and roll (cant) measurements for weapon laying and display
  • Adaptive in-field calibration if environment changes
  • Self contained with internal and external power supply (for sustained operation)

FIRE CONTROL FEATURES

  • Multiple PAM16s (mounted on similar or dissimilar weapons) can be commanded by common fire control system
  • Synchronised fire can be commanded by fire control system to distributed weapons
  • Accurate firing patterns can be commanded by fire control system

HEALTH AND USAGE FEATURES

  • Data Logging and Shot Count (per weapon serial no)
  • Battery life and usage cycles are measured to ensure healthy battery deployment
  • Caution and instructions are provided on unhealthy calibration environment.

SAFETY SYSTEM FEATURES

  • Level of confidence indication in compass measurement
  • Caution and warnings on plausibility of weapon firing data
